Moorwood Vulcan kit to power NEC cook-off

Manitowoc Foodservice has been unveiled as the equipment sponsor of the Live Theatre at the forthcoming Hospitality Show in Birmingham.

The Live Theatre is part of the Salon Culinaire and includes a back to back series of hot live classes each day in eight adjacent workstations.

Manitowoc Foodservice will supply Moorwood Vulcan six burner ranges and Moorwood Vulcan salamander grills for the classes.

Steve Hemsil, national sales manager distribution UK and Ireland at Manitowoc, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Hospitality Show. It’s a must-attend event for the foodservice and hospitality industry. With the trend for theatre-style cooking coming to the fore in restaurants, it’s a great opportunity to show visitors our equipment in action.”

Manitowoc will also have a stand at the exhibition, which it will use to market its Convotherm 4 combi steamer. The oven was launched in the UK market earlier this year after the biggest investment in R&D in the brand’s history.

Equipment from Manitowoc’s Merrychef and Garland brands wil also be showcased at the event, which takes place on 19-21 January 2015.
