Montague fires up heavy duty broiler in UK


Montague’s new heavy duty broiler has been introduced to the UK market, with the kit available to dealers through Gamble Foodservice Solutions.

The brand says the broiler is an ideal choice for distributors with customers who want to sear meat and vegetables in a flash but have a high volume of covers to turn out.

Reaching temperatures as high as 1372ºC and with a flame failure system, the CE-approved Montague Legend Overfired Broiler rapidly increases speed on the grill while maintaining product quality.

High speed broiling is achieved thanks to infrared radiant heat from the 42,000 BTUs/hr cast iron burners with ceramic radiants penetrating all exposed surfaces of the meat or vegetables.

With independent burner controls and available with steakhouse cook plate, plancha top or no cook top at all, the broiler also features a new pilot system for improved lighting and a ultra-efficient thermocouple positioning for improved performance and less downtime.
