Food and perishable product safety systems expert Monika has successfully achieved the International Organisation for Standardisation’s (ISO) 9001, 27001 and 27017 standards.
Covering quality management in general, plus rigorous governance of information and cloud security, Monika has raised the bar in terms of providing assurance to customers.
UK and Europe MD Lorraine Gamble explained: “We’ve achieved multiple accreditations over the years including ConstructionLine and SafeContractor, in order to prove to customers that we are a safe and reliable company to deal with. These new standards will give them additional reassurance that we are fully committed to quality and information security across our entire operation.
“Our digital MonikaPrime solution hosts client data in the MonikaCloud. Having ISO 27017 is therefore essential to demonstrating to our customers that we are following recognised best practices in terms of data security.”
MonikaPrime is designed to save customers money while managing their risk. The first of its three modules, Team Management, uses a handheld Android device and wireless probe to provide a standalone paper free solution for managing and recording tasks, jobs and checks – from hand-probing of food to routine cleaning and hygiene tasks.
‘Equipment Management’ automatically collects temperature data from refrigeration and other appliances, and sends alerts when temperatures move out of range to enable stock to be moved and saved, and product safety to be maintained. Back-end enterprise software then aggregates the data collected to provide a performance overview, allow staff training and equipment maintenance needs to be identified as well as providing an audit trail.
