Chemical engineering expert, Michael Fowler, is the new product manager at wireless monitoring system manufacturer Monika.

The appointment forms part of the company’s ongoing growth strategy, not just in the UK but also across key global territories such as the United Arab Emirates and Australia.

Having trained in the complex science of chemical engineering and spent many years working in the research and development of medical technology, Fowler has much experience in the field.

More recently, he has honed his marketing capability, undertaking a role that saw him manage new product development, strategise on creative ad campaigns and progress complex e-commerce platforms.

The newly-created position will see Fowler take a key supporting role in ongoing product development, both from a hardware and software element, build and support brand awareness across the key markets globally through comprehensive market research and manage advertising, marketing, exhibitions and digital communications for the company.

Fowler commented: “My appointment at Monika represents a fantastic opportunity for me to utilise my experience and knowledge of product marketing, applying this to the dynamic, forward thinking industry that is foodservice.
