Moffat states its case to school caterers

E&R Moffat has confirmed that it will exhibit at next month’s LACA 2013 Conference, where it intends to showcase its latest range of equipment for school catering.

The firm will put a particular emphasis on its latest Grab and Go merchandiser display cabinets and Versicarte range of mobile servery units.

“An increasing number of schools are buying Grab and Go units, in response to student demand for high-street type catering,” said the company’s sales director Gary Allen.

He said that Moffat has developed a special circulating air system that gently warms the product without making it soggy or dry out – so it stays hot and fresh for longer. “Where schools can score against the high street is in offering tasty, healthy food. These heated units help maintain food quality,” he added.

Based in Bonnybridge, Scotland, Moffat manufactures standard and bespoke servery, regeneration and storage equipment and runs a full nationwide after-sales engineering team.

The LACA conference and exhibition takes place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on July 10-12.
