Moffat confirms bespoke production of prep tables

Moffat has added an extra twist to its 30 seconds-to-assemble prep bench by making it available in bespoke sizes for the first time.

The hygienic drop-down tables claim to be as strong and stable as their regular stainless steel counterpart, yet can be erected or folded flat as required.

Up to now the line has been available in pre-selected sizes, but now it has been expanded to accommodate the specification of any kitchen area.

“A lot of operators need non-standard bench lengths, to match their space or application,” says Gary Allen, sales director at Moffat. “We’ll still offer the regular sizes, ex-stock. But those who have special bench prep requirements can now get just the right size.”

All wall benches have a stainless steel top, which is reinforced with a galvanised plate to give added strength and stiffness to the work surface. A stainless steel undershelf provides useful storage space as well as holding the legs firmly in position.

Allen said the range is aimed at event caterers or those which find their kitchen space requirements change regularly.
Wall benches are 850mm high and standard lengths, available ex-stock, are 1100mm, 1400mm and 1700mm. Bespoke sizes must be pre-ordered for an extra cost, the company said.
