Wolfenbüttel, Germany-based MKN has won a German Brand Award in the Brand Communication – Web and Mobile category.
The accolade was given to the cooking equipment manufacturer for the relaunch of its company website.
MKN feels the award pays tribute to its achievements in market strategy and creation.
The German Brand Award is a trophy for brands and their makers. It honours brand success in a unique manner and, with a contact list of more than 315m names, it is said to be the marketing prize with the widest coverage in German-speaking countries.
Corinna Düe, head of communications at MKN said: “The main aim of our international website relaunch was to make MKN – world of cooking a tangible experience and move our market image into the digital age with a new online presence. We have certainly done that. We are immensely proud of this achievement and thrilled to receive this award.”
As digital media and communication are important, especially in current times, MKN is focusing particularly on digital marketing activities.
