Dealers can now book individual education sessions online with the MKN team.

MKN is now connecting virtually with dealers, consultants and chefs, in their own offices, at home or in site kitchens.

The manufacturer is offering complimentary online personal seminars that allow users to ask specific questions around new products, kitchen processes, food trends, cooking applications and hygiene, as well as anything that relates to their own individual requirements.

Since lockdown, MKN has provided a raft of information, useful tips and assistance in live streams via social media and webinars covering specific products.

The online personal seminars takes this support to a new level by ensuring customers can connect with the premium cooking equipment brand’s personnel at their own convenience and location.

Wayne Bennett, head of sales for the UK at MKN, explained: “Businesses have been hit hard by the current exceptional circumstances and we are trying to support our customers in every possible way.”

“Personal consultation is an extremely important element as every kitchen has its own special requirements.”

Bennett said seminar topics could be tailored to individual requirements and would cover a variety of subjects, from how to save space or increase efficiency in a kitchen to where to find inspiration about food trends.

He added: “Participants receive useful tips and advice related to our complete product portfolio. This ranges from multifunctional to conventional equipment as our expertise applies to the entire cooking process. The individual consultation also covers all kinds of foodservice applications, from restaurants and catering companies to company catering facilities and institution catering.”

Participants will be able to profit from the seminars by tapping into the knowledge of MKN’s team of experts.

They will be on hand to discuss the finer details of the company’s cooking platforms, including how overnight cooking can increase output, why sous vide can reduce food waste and the development of the first automatic cleaning system for skillet pans.

“We keep our customers up to date and provide them with information that they need for optimising processes in their kitchens,” said Bennett.
