Cooking technology specialist, MKN, has developed a new website which places emphasis on the world of professional cooking.
The site has been redesigned and now has what the firm believes is a fresh, modern look featuring new videos and graphics as well as intuitive navigation, which has so far reportedly been well received by customers and fellow industry professionals.
The website includes product-specific pages on MKN’s selection of equipment, as well as a dedicated page on when and where the next MKN seminars will take place titled the ‘MKN Cooking Experience’.
Along with this, the website is also split into several pages on industry solutions such as for the hotel, care and education sectors as well as information on the latest case studies.
To ensure that the company is keeping connected with its customers, the business has added a blog to the website providing the latest business news, tips from experts and information on its cooking solutions.
The blog will also include regular posts on the current trends in the professional kitchen as well as ‘behind-the-scenes’ focused posts into the world of MKN.
Wayne Bennett, head of UK sales for MKN, said: “The new MKN website brings across a brand new look for the company and really stands out with the visual effects and creative elements which the information has been designed into. Visitors of the website can then get a real idea of how our products work and which sectors they are used in.
“It is our aim at MKN to ensure that we are providing a high standard of service to customers, and creating our new website is just one of the ways we can do this in terms of our digital presence. The website also has a responsive design making it mobile-friendly so customers can easily access the website whilst on the go if they wish.”
Developed by the team in Germany, the new website comes just months after MKN announced plans to strengthen its position within the UK market with the implementation of a new UK-based sales strategy.
The proposed strategy stated that MKN would place a greater emphasis on further developing the support it can offer to the foodservice industry within the UK, as well as developing relationships with key contacts within the industry.
