MKN has become the latest well known catering equipment company to back the Catering Insight Awards, taking the sponsor total to 14, by far the most successful event yet.
The cooking equipment manufacturer joins just as the official shortlist is about to be released. The full roster will be available simultaneously in November’s issue of Catering Insight and online on 1 November.
Senior executives from distributors will then be invited to vote on the supplier category winners, while their counterparts in suppliers choosing the distributor category victors. Voting will close on Monday 13 November.
All winners will be announced during the gala ceremony on Thursday 23 November at the stunning 8 Northumberland Avenue in Central London.
MKN’s regional sales manager for London and the south east, Kate Aston, commented: “We believe that the Catering Insight Awards is a prestigious event that can help us to show our commitment to the industry and our UK supply partners.
“The awards ceremony last year was a great opportunity for MKN to meet with our customers/dealers, both existing and new. This year we take part with our whole MKN UK team to show that despite the changes to our internal structure we are stronger than ever and committed to promoting and selling the MKN brand.”
Aston underlined: “Not only is it a great networking opportunity for all involved it shows the manufacturers who the dealers are that are doing the good work and is a way to reward the work being done by them, plus it shows us as manufacturers who the key people are that we should be working with.”
The cooking equipment manufacturer believes that the event is a great way to communicate where MKN is at as a brand and the changes it is implementing in the UK to make it stronger and more proactive in the market. Aston concluded: “2018 sees an exciting year ahead for us. We are looking forward to being seen as a complete team and again having the opportunity to meet with potential new dealers and strengthen relationships we already all have. For us, being at the awards this year as a UK team shows the UK market MKN are fully committed to what we see as an amazing brand.”
