MITIE grabs £14m of catering project contracts


Outsourcing services company MITIE has grown its catering business by 45% over the past year, the company has announced, making it one of the fastest growing customers of catering equipment in the UK.

The FTSE 250 company offers catering services from within its facilities management business. In the past 12 months, it has secured new business worth over £14, consisting of both stand-alone catering contracts and business won as part of integrated FM deals.

New contracts include Diageo, WorldPay, the Office of Fair Trading, and the Cumbrian Collaboration which incorporates Sellafield and the NDA. The team has also expanded its longstanding relationship with Osborne Clark as well as retaining and extending existing contracts with Hallmark Cards, The Brewery and DAC Beachcroft LLP.
