Miele has appointed a new national account manager to support the company’s sales and growth across the UK.
Nicky Whittaker joins the professional division of Miele, manufacturer of commercial laundry and dishwashing appliances, following ten years working for Miele partners.
As part of her new role, she will build sustainable customer relationships, advising Miele’s commercial customers on dishwashing and laundry equipment.
In her previous position at Miele’s partner Goodman Sparks, Whittaker assisted customers with implementation, sales and after-sales service. This included advising on waste legislation and construction surveying for NHS, Hotels and Housing Association projects.
Prior to this, she spent eight years working at Wilson Electrics, where she also provided Miele’s professional range alongside other industrial laundry brands.
Whittaker comments: “I have a real enthusiasm for Miele machines. It’s a brand that truly is synonymous with quality and the equipment is built to last – that’s why I have always recommended Miele machines for high intensity cleaning purposes such as care, hospitality or catering industries.”
Sam Bailey, sales and marketing director of Miele’s professional division said: “We’re delighted to have Nicky on board. Her vast prior experience of Miele and our target sectors means she has first-hand understanding of the role quality plays in meeting our customers’ requirements. I think she will excel at managing strong relationships with our key national clients.”
