Specialist warewasher dealer Midshires Catering Equipment has once more joined forces with Italian manufacturer, Krupps, following 2 years of collaboration.
The Loughborough-based dealer refurbished Everards Brewery’s The Church Inn’s kitchen in Hockley, Birmingham, and as part of that, installed a new Krupps EL51E dishwasher.
The distributor recommended this unit with wi-fi capabilities that can be controlled and serviced by an engineer remotely using any type of device connected to the internet with the Krupps app.
Midshires’ head engineer, Simon Marren, said: “It is always a pleasure to offer the customer something new and innovative, and the Krupps app with iKloud wi-fi can achieve this, guaranteeing a better service for the operator.”
Everards Brewery is reportedly pleased with these machines as it now has a number of installed within its pub estate.
A representative of the brewery added: “We trust Midshires and its product selection achieves our expectations.”
The distributor is also replacing its rental stock with iKloud-enabled machines in order to solve issues remotely and reduce its engineer attendances.
Midshires MD, Ian Tyler, commented: “We have been able to be very hands on with these machines from the factory to the end user; our confidence is high. The iKloud gives us a heads up on any potential issues and can adjust settings and solve problems remotely.”
