Middleby UK is to hold a series of extraction-free cooking demonstrations for distributors at its UK headquarters in Wigan, starting on Thursday 30 January 2020.
The cooking demonstrations will set out to prove that sites don’t necessarily need equipment supported by skilled staff and expensive air extraction systems to produce a wide range of food, quickly.
This is an important message for every distributor and kitchen designer, but especially for those who are working with operators in the fast food sector, said Christian Jones, Middleby’s UK group MD: “The food to go sector is expanding rapidly, with outlets such as convenience stores, wet-led bars, event caterers and petrol station forecourts looking to offer food produced by unskilled staff.
“So, the ability to set up a kitchen which can deliver their menu without an extraction system is a huge advantage. Not only can it cut costs and speed up the installation process, but it can allow operators to consider a wider range of possible venues too.
“By putting a wide variety of our innovative ventless prime cooking equipment through its paces, including ovens, fryers, griddles and grills from our Turbo Chef, Cibo, Perfect Fry and Evo ranges, we will show our guests that ventless cooking need not limit their customers’ menu choices or output.”
Two ventless cooking demonstrations will be held next Thursday – in the morning (9.30am to 12pm) and afternoon (12.30pm to 3pm).
