Middleby more than doubles its warehousing capability

Middleby is in the process of relocating premises 10 miles down the road from its current location in a move that will better support its expansion plans.

From 22 December the company will inhabit new and larger premises at Stonecross Business Park in Wigan.

The new warehousing facility, just minutes form Junction 23 of the M6, covers 50,000 sq ft, and has a headroom of 10 metres compared with the current Warrington HQ which is just 17,500 sq ft and 6 metres high.

According to Kenny Smith, Middleby UK sales director: “With more than double the size to play with we can stock more product, such as our Pitco fryer range, and the move gives us scope for growth in the future.

“These are exciting time for Middleby. Within our new premises we will also have a large development and innovation kitchen, scheduled for completion in March next year, which will showcase all that Middleby has to offer in the UK.”
