Middleby brand expands into boiling kettles

Available in both gas and electric indirect heating models, the units combine UK engineering with Italian design and are robustly built to withstand the rigours of the most demanding, high-output, commercial kitchen, says the company.

The boiling kettles range offers a choice of 100l and 150l capacity – each available in gas and electric models – and is built to the European standard width of 800mm.

At the heart of each unit is a tank constructed from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel. This is for durability and to provide greater protection against salt and starch at high temperatures. Electronic valves activated through the control panel fascia control the hot and cold water feed, while a safety thermostat provides run-dry protection.

Richard Fordham, Q90’s international brand manager, says: “Our Q90 boiling kettles are designed to be true stalwarts in the most demanding commercial kitchens where there is no room for compromise on reliability and output.

“They look great, they’re efficient to run, clean and maintain, and are built to last.

“We’re so confident of the quality of our products that we provide a comprehensive two-year onsite parts and labour warranty on every item of Q90 equipment sold in the UK.”

In addition to boiling kettles, the Q90 range of gas and electric equipment includes oven ranges, fryers, griddles, boiling tops, bratt pans and chargrills, as well as bains marie, pasta cookers and ambient units.
