Microwave expert Regale chalks up award from supply partner


Regale Microwave Ovens, the Hampshire-based independent microwave oven specialist, has once again been nominated as Panasonic’s UK No1 Commercial Microwave Oven wholesaler 2014-2015.

It is the third year in a row that Regale has earned the plaudit.

The Regale offices closed early recently for the first time in the company’s history so the entire staff could attend Panasonic’s head office for a presentation of a commemorative plaque signed by Yosuke Matsunaga, director of the kitchen appliances business divisions, Panasonic Corporation in Japan.

The presentation was made by David Cavin, director of procurement on behalf of Matsunaga. Iain Philips, national accounts manager, Panasonic UK, was also in attendance.

Regale staff arrived by limousine mid-Friday afternoon and were treated to a tour of the Business Innovation Department prior to the presentation and after were whisked away to the Hilton T5 Hotel Heathrow for an overnight stay and a celebration meal in ‘Cyrus Todiwala’s Kitchen’ situated in the hotel.

The plaque was accepted by Patrick Bray, managing director of Regale who said it was the staff’s dedication to customer service that keeps Regale as the number one wholesaler of commercial microwave ovens.

Regale’s directors further expressed delight in their staff by extending the hotel stay for another night as well as treating them to a privately hired motor cruiser for a four hour trip with lunch and drinks on the Thames,taking in Windsor Castle and the beautiful riverside scenery of Berkshire.
