Meiko UK has boosted its internal sales support team with estimator Mark Roberts being promoted to the newly created role of product manager.

Roberts has spent 7 years working in the Meiko UK estimating department and has assisted in bringing to fruition a number of varied warewashing projects.

He has also been behind the development of Meiko’s online presence and Twitter social media feed, which has generated just under 600 followers since inception. Meiko’s tweets now achieve more than 10,000 impressions per month.

“My new role of product manager will focus on increasing the resources available for our distributor partners and regional sales managers,” said Roberts. “We have an array of fantastic products and part of my new role will be to look at new ways of monitoring, measuring and evaluating the performance of these products.

“Providing more comprehensive product, sales and market data, I will ensure our sales partners and the sales team are up to date with developments and fully aware of the comprehensive range of sales support Meiko has to offer.

“Meiko is a great company to work for because it is forward-thinking and constantly evolving. I’m looking forward to getting started helping Meiko expand its presence in the UK.”
