Meiko is offering distributors the chance to get their hands on its new AirConcept heat recovery units for free.
To mark the launch of the energy-saving unit in the UK market, the manufacturer will give away three of the units to any distributor ordering a DV80.2GiO dishwasher.
The offer is valid for the whole of September, but distributors need to be quick as the units will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The AirConcept system has a customer price tag of around £1,800 and to qualify for a free one distributors simply need to send their order for the DV80.2GiO here.
The Point2 AirConcept system is a new development that is designed to save significant amounts of energy for Meiko’s most popular hood-type warewashing machine.
Fitted behind the hood itself, Point2 AirConcept reduces the connected load of a DV80.2GiO dishwasher from 8.5kW to 7.0kW, a saving of 17%.
The AirConcept also uses an innovative air management solution that captures exhaust heat, feeding the hot air back into the machine as part of a heat recovery process.
Meiko claims that a DV80.2GiO pass-through dishwasher with AirConcept operating in a seven-day-a-week hotel environment for six hours a day will deliver energy savings for the customer in the region of 3,285kW/hours.
At a kw/unit rate of 12p, that equates to a saving of approximately £395 a year.
