Peter Kitchin has led his family business to new heights after the company had its most successful year to date, including its highest turnover.
As well as financial achievements made in the past 12 months, Peter has also guided the company in other areas of growth, such as the setting up of subsidiary company C&C Catering Fabrications.
Peter’s idea to start up the business was realised this year when the opportunity arose to support a member of the team in becoming MD of the fabrication business.
Major projects for the dealer over the past 12 months included a coffee bar at the University of Birmingham, a huge catering facility fit out spanning three floors for cosmetics brand Estee Lauders’ new UK and Ireland headquarters, as well as an unusual car-themed fit out of staff dining facilities at VW Finance’s Milton Keynes offices.
Additionally, Peter also oversaw the integration of C&C Catering Engineers to form a subsidiary of C&C Catering Equipment in May 2016, as he had previously owned the engineering company.
He has also led the company in terms of its staff growth, which has seen the team in London increase, as well as at the Chester-based head office, which has included new members of staff in the accounts department.
The opportunity to employ new starters has included three trainee staff, a decision by Peter to actively introduce and engage younger individuals in the industry.
His professional achievements are results of his hard work, passion, and dedication to the business and the industry.
