Chris Douglas’ impressive portfolio of clients boasts some of the biggest blue chips through to Michelin starred chefs.
As an individual Chris is extremely professional and has helped take Hallmark to another dimension with the assistance of MD Kevin Jennings. What makes Chris truly pioneering is that he takes the time to understand what the customer wants. He listens and then uses his experience to produce a creative, tailor-made solution. His colleagues say he has a very particular nature and consequently finds it easy to translate the demands of other people with particular natures.
He was recently faced with providing a glass washing solution to a private members club. The club will be serving exceptional wine in extremely expensive glasses; the difference being that the wine belongs to the members themselves. Chris produced a system that will cope with the amount of glassware but also deliver a result that will ensure the wine is served in its best possible condition.
Conversely, Chris has had to deal with huge projects in the hospitality sector where he has been given as little as five days to complete them. Chris and Hallmark have also been involved with international projects from the US and Europe. Taking a concept that’s worked in another country and translating it into a UK equivalent has also seen Chris and his team use their creativity to satisfy customers wanting to make a statement in the UK.
Chris ensures that Hallmark delivers first-rate, high quality work which drives huge amounts of repeat business — a testimony to the standard he sets. He is both admired and highly respected by industry peers and also consultants.
