The value of electronic marketing to any catering equipment distributor cannot be underestimated and is an integral role within any successful business. This marketing role is a wide and varied one, encompassing many different disciplines, and no-one knows this more than Angie Hardwick, who has been the website manager at Hopkins Catering Equipment for the last 10 years.

During this period, she has seen the catering equipment landscape change significantly in terms of how businesses market themselves and she has been at the forefront of Hopkins’ efforts during this period.

Angie’s title would suggest her involvement is only on the website side of the business but this couldn’t be further from the truth. When it comes to any form of electronic marketing or day to day IT-related tasks she will be at the heart of it, making sure the task is completed to the best of her ability and solving any problems.

She is responsible not only for the electronic marketing for the entire Hopkins business but also all the data-related tasks such as price files, collating figures and supplier discounts, thus ensuring the various sales teams within the business have all the information they need to perform their duties.

Her role is one that can quite often go unnoticed in the background but actually touches every aspect of the business from marketing to sales to accounts and her efforts means everyone else’s day to day duties run that much smoother. Angie is a keystone in the operation of Hopkins Catering Equipment and her hard work day to day is an integral component in the growth and success seen by the company.
