As Sales Director of Gratte Brothers Catering Equipment, Paul Gilhooly is ensuring that the Stevenage-based distributor is at the forefront of the industry.
Not only has he been instrumental in implementing a detailed employee engagement process which resulted in a headquarters facelift an investment in the latest design, servicing and telephony software, he has ensured that the dealer remains a go-to business for end users by winning many major projects.
One of the latest wins is for Society General’s new 34-storey building in Canary Wharf, London, worth a huge £1.6m to the distributor. Gratte Brothers has been charged with installing catering areas on seven of those floors before the construction is completed in early 2020.
Paul has ensured that existing clients receive the highest service and care, with an ongoing project at London’s famous Ritz hotel involving a dishwash area. While this was being refurbished, Paul arranged for the hotel to be loaned warewashers for the period of the project to help minimise disruption.
However, he also underlines that there are no projects too large or small for the distributor to take on, treating singular equipment replacement with the same focus as a turnkey kitchen scheme. It is therefore no wonder that Gratte Brothers has won three CEDA Grand Prix awards over the last few years, as well as 2017’s Catering Insight Awards Distributor of the Year, Project Management accolade.
