David Andrews has been plugging away behind the scenes in the catering equipment industry for many years. Hailing from Stourbridge, he is a fully qualified commercial catering engineer.
He has amassed a huge amount of experience both on the front line of maintenance and managing others in a servicing network.
Starting his career in this sector at the Airedale Group in 2003, he forged an invaluable 11 years of experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer.
From here, he moved on to become the Technical Manager for Network Catering Engineers between 2014 and 2015. His stock continued to rise as he was soon headhunted to be the Sprint Group’s National Service Manager, leading the Worcestershire-based distributor’s servicing division.
This year he has taken another step along his career path by helping Vision Commercial Kitchens to boost its maintenance capabilities. Hired in January as the kitchen design house’s National Service Manager, his is bringing all his experience to the table in order to oversee all operations within the service department and help to grow this part of this business.
His industry colleagues have acknowledged his skills and the depth of his knowledge and would like to see him recognised for keeping kitchens up and down the country ticking over at all times.
