Fatboys Catering Equipment has enjoyed another storming year thanks to the direction of Managing Director, Chris Neeld.
In the past 12 months the distributor has collected several top awards, including the CESA Distributor of the Year accolade, voted for by the association’s members themselves, for its achievements in growing sales, driving customer satisfaction and implementing initiatives to improve business.
Furthermore the firm won ENSE’s Training Champion of the year trophy for 2017, as the distributor sent the most people to ENSE training sessions throughout last year. Chris was instrumental in these steps, ensuring that his staff are as prepared as possible to deliver great service.
Additionally, he has ensured that the Fatboys on time on price philosophy translates into successful projects. Over the past year or so these have numbered the Cotswold Inns’ Close Hotel, which involved installing the group’s first induction suite and replacing a rotting floor, as well as schemes for the Ramada Park Hall Hotel, Wolverhampton and Ego at The Knowles Arms, Blackburn. Fatboys delivered the £500,000 Ramada project a week early, despite finding asbestos on the site.
Chris was also one of the main drivers behind the dealer refurbishing its own new showroom and demonstration kitchen, in order to provide an even better showcase for the products it can offer.
