With no previous knowledge of the catering industry, Adam Hall has got off to a flying start with ABDA Creative Design & Build.
Adam’s raw talent for design was noticed in a competition run by ABDA which aimed to seek out its next catering designer. Despite having no prior experience in CAD design or the catering trade, his design skills stood out to the ABDA team who chose him as the competition winner.
He joined the firm with an infectious enthusiasm, quickly taking on an impressive amount of knowledge and becoming easily aligned with ABDA’s creative edge. Boasting an extremely technical mind and a resourceful and practical approach to design and problem solving, his eye for detail gives him growing awareness of the built environment.
Since joining ABDA, Adam has worked on numerous prestigious projects within the London market, honing his skills as a progressing catering designer. His recent work includes the delivery of an exciting new servery refurbishment at Queenswood School in Hatfield.
His brief was to provide a creative solution allowing him to develop his creative and technical skills. The work involved a full strip-out and replacement, decorative and task lighting platforms, new servery counters and catering equipment.
His industry colleagues recognise how well he has developed in such a short time and how much knowledge he has soaked up despite the vast size of this industry. He appoints himself well and challenges himself at work every day.
