McFT welcomes new operations chief

Lee Williams is now McFT’s operations director.

Catering equipment servicing firm McFT has appointed Lee Williams as operations director with responsibility for operations, procurement, logistics, service desk and supply chain.

He has a history of working with mobile field workforces and their support teams, as his career started with British Gas as a trainee gas engineer over 30 years ago. Since then he has held various leadership positions at British Gas, Transco and at BSkyB as operations director, running its 3,000-strong field engineer operation and support network.

Over the last 10 years Williams has been held a number of operations director roles at SMEs in the refrigeration, air conditioning, security and facilities management sectors.

He commented: “I am delighted to be joining McFT at such an exciting time of growth and change.

“I have been really impressed with the enthusiasm to succeed, the openness of everyone I have met and the desire to work in a great environment. No other company of this size gives training to engineers of the calibre they get at McFT.
