Chester-based distributor C&C Catering Equipment has promoted Matthew Kitchin to the role of commercial director, having joined the family business over 12 years ago.
Starting as commercial manager, when C&C was located at its Bumpers Lane office in Chester, Kitchin has played an integral part in the business and its subsidiary companies C&C Catering Engineers and C&C Catering Fabrications during his time with the company.
He worked alongside his late grandfather and founder of C&C, John P. Kitchin, and his father and MD, Peter N. Kitchin, for many years as he learnt about the industry and the family business.
Peter Kitchin commented: “We are delighted that Matt is now a director at the family business, having joined us in September 2009. I am sure his late grandad and our founder, John, would be overjoyed with the news. Congratulations to Matt from all of us at C&C.”
