Joanna Robinson, the MD of air management firm Mansfield Pollard has been unveiled as a finalist in this year’s inaugural Yorkshire Business Leader Awards.
She joined the ventilation equipment company in early 2013 and quickly established a clear vision for the future of the business. She is said to have built a culture based on customer focus, quality, integrity, innovation and fun.
The company now employs 160 staff, and since Robinson took over as MD sales have grown by a third with the business working on projects on a national and international basis.
The winner of the Yorkshire Company Director of the Year award will be announced at a ceremony in Sheffield on 10 March 2016.
Robinson commented: “It is a huge honour to have been shortlisted for the Yorkshire Business Leaders Company Director of the Year award.
“I am exceptionally proud of Mansfield Pollard’s achievements over the last 3 years and pleased with the strong growth which we have seen for our bespoke air management solutions.
“Despite working in a traditional sector we have all worked hard to ensure the business remains innovative and adapts to the changing needs of our customers. We are very excited about the potential which the business has for the future.”
