Foodservice equipment manufacturer Manitowoc is planning to reorganise its UK sales team in the wake of Simon Frost’s recent exit from the firm.
Frost has taken up the challenge of running warewashing manufacturer Wexiodisk’s UK operations after spending almost a decade at Manitowoc, where he most recently served as UK sales director.
Rather than appoint a direct replacement, Manitowoc is using his departure to tweak its existing set-up and transition the business.
Simon Merrick, director of key accounts at Manitowoc, said: “Manitowoc has been presented with the perfect opportunity to restructure its sales team following the departure of Simon Frost earlier this month. This is a very important decision for Manitowoc and allows us the chance to best evaluate how we can plan for the future to ensure we continue to deliver the structure that our customers and dealers require.”
Merrick said the new structure would be communicated to the market once the company is satisfied that the right arrangements are in place.
“We are currently in the process of finalising this internally for 2013 and will make further announcements as soon as this is complete,” he confirmed.
Merrick said that in the meantime all dealer queries should be directed to himself on 01483 464900.
