Manitowoc targets small caterers with Merrychef e2

Manitowoc has revealed that it will launch the new Merrychef e2 at Hotelympia next month.

The latest addition to its Merrychef eikon selection is ideal for a variety of smaller establishments such as cafes, tearooms and kiosks, according to the company.

It insists the e2 will help to create additional revenue opportunity for new locations where space has previously been a limitation to offering good food, fast.

Merrychef e2 features a new patented heat transfer method that uses planar plumes to provide fast and efficient crispy cooking with uniform browning.

This means operators can cook a wide variety of popular snacks such as paninis, pizza cones, chicken wraps, all of which can be cooked to a high repeatable standard.

Merrychef features an easyTOUCH Control panel that has the ability to store more than 1,000 six-stage recipe programs and makes menu navigation easy.

Manitowoc’s food service business comprises numerous brands including Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Fabristeel, Frymaster, Garland, Jackson, Kolpak and McCall.
