Manitowoc Foodservice has announced a new site for its Culinary Innovation Days: Cargill’s in Wolverhampton.

The site will be dedicated to the manufacturer’s Convotherm and Merrychef brands and should provide an insight for both dealers and end users in helping them discover the latest product technology and innovations.

Upcoming dates at the new site are 27 October and 24 November, with a full 2017 schedule to be announced shortly.

These sessions are the latest addition to the Manitowoc Foodservice culinary development programme.

During each Culinary Innovation Day, development chef, Scott Kedwards will demonstrate the latest technology from the two brands with end users, distributors and customers, each having the opportunity to see the equipment focusing on different cooking techniques.

The day can be tailored to suit the culinary needs of the customer, so that each attendee gets the most out of the innovation session.

Delegates are also provided with a chance to sample some of the food cooked during the demonstration.

The equipment which will be showcased at the Cargill’s Wolverhampton culinary demonstration site will include the Merrychef eikon e2s and eikon e3, as well as the Convotherm easyTouch smoker and the Convotherm mini combi steamer.

Over the course of the session, attendees will be able to experience firsthand the overall kitchen solution which the Convotherm and Merrychef brands can provide, and how to achieve maximum performance from the each piece of equipment.

Manitowoc Foodservice currently has five culinary innovation demonstration locations around the UK – Sheffield, Guildford, Bolton, Glasgow and now the new Wolverhampton site.
