Premier League champions Manchester City are looking to repeat their success off the pitch by refurbishing elements of their stadium catering infrastructure.
The club recently commissioned catering consultancy Radford Chancellor to carry out a detailed assessment of all the catering facilities based inside the Etihad Stadium. As well as hosting all home fixtures, the venue is also used for music concerts.
Manchester City presides over more than £3m of heavy catering equipment assets and contracted Radford Chancellor as an expert in the field of kitchen efficiency, catering design and equipment resource.
The project involved full equipment specification and budget requirements for asset replacement.
“We assessed more than 50 public kiosks and 10 hospitality sites to create an up to date inventory, and identify equipment that required replacement,” revealed director Radford Chancellor. “We also highlighted areas for design and layout improvement that would lead to more efficient uses of space and staff resource.”
The company has now handed over the detailed report to Manchester City’s procurement team for use in an upcoming refurbishment project.
