Maidaid Halcyon has appointed Lewis Hodgetts to the position of national accounts manager.
He will work alongside Simon Wale to further enhance an area that the warewasher supplier reports has seen substantial growth over the last few years.
Hodgetts started in the industry 6 years ago as a sales executive with Airedale, where he was tasked with bringing in new business, working with end users and main contractors.
He then progressed to account manager in the group’s pub retail division where most of his time was spent looking after Greene King projects. This included site meetings with the project teams, full site surveys, producing CAD drawings/designs, project management and site training.
Hodgetts further detailed: “In a bid to progress my career, I moved to Fatboys as design and project manager where both my design and my project management skills were greatly increased and tested.
“Due to the initial lockdown my job role changed which led me to explore other opportunities, and in doing so very happily found Maidaid.”
Sales director Robert Wager commented: “We are thrilled at the appointment of Lewis and welcome him to the Maidaid team. Maidaid is growing at a rapid rate and Lewis’s experience and background will only help us to continue that trend.”
