Maidaid prepares for dealer summer demand

Dealers are set to benefit from equipment manufacturer Maidaid’s forward thinking regarding its stock levels.

The company has increased its product stores ahead of its continental factory’s summer shutdown period.

One dealer which has already profited from these measures is C&C Catering Equipment. The distributor’s founder, John Kitchin, recently received a call from Tweedmill Shopping Outlet in Denbighshire requesting immediate help in solving the company’s wash up area problems.

Kitchin, with the assistance of Maidaid Halcyon’s sales director Julian Lambert and his team, answered the call and after a site survey was able to quote, supply and install a Maidaid Minirack rack machine within 7 days.

According to Kitchin: “We are delighted with the prompt and efficient service provided by Maidaid Halcyon. We choose Maidaid Halcyon as we know it carries the stock and expertise to be able to supply this type of machine at very short notice.”

Chris Myhill of Maidaid Halcyon added: “Maidaid Halcyon prides itself on the ability to supply its customers’ needs, large or small over the August shut down. We have a very large stock holding, everything from our latest Minirack machines through to our smallest under counter units, along with ice machines, coffee machines, tabling and including a good stock of our new models."

The manufacturer is expecting another busy August thanks to the release of new models. Myhill detailed: “We will be holding over 2,500 machines throughout the Maidaid Halcyon range, to see us through the next 3 to 4 weeks.

“This time of year is a challenge for our warehouse staff who have to find spaces to put the equipment. This is a well-planned procedure and the warehouse staff have years of experience.”
