Maidaid Halcyon is preparing to launch its new Twin Star dishwasher to the UK dealer market.
The company claims that as well as looking radically different to the traditional dishwasher, it works in a new and innovative way.
The Twin Star’s double glass doors display changing colour lighting within the body of the machine to indicate the wash cycle stages.
The double-sided model can be set into a wall, providing a unique connection between front of house and the kitchen to create what Maidaid Halycon calls an eye-catching talking point for customers.
The system requires no ventilation as it has a built in self-condensing unit, and it also features a thermo-disinfection cycle and integrated water softener.
Julian Lambert, sales director at Maidaid Halcyon, says: “The dishwasher is the most used piece of equipment in any professional kitchen. Maidaid Halcyon has a very successful range of dishwashing machines, and we take any radical technology changes very seriously indeed: our reputation depends upon it. That’s why we are so excited about the Twin Star.”
Lambert added that the Twin Star features an option for a delayed start, which allows the machine to run on cheap rate electricity, while no pre-wash tabling is required and the machine can be loaded and unloaded from front and back doors.
Maidaid will be showcasing the Twin Star on stand 336 at the Hospitality Show next week.
