The UK food-to-go trade event lunch! welcomed 6,882 attendees to the London ExCeL last week, the highest number since the show began.

Featuring a number of major coffee shop and food-to-go operators and retailers, attendance rose by 9% in comparison to last year’s show.

Along with the likes of Subway, Greggs and KFC, 1,820 independent cafes, coffee shops and sandwich shops were also there showing off what they have to offer.

Chris Brazier, lunch!’s group event director, said: “lunch! 2018 was simply our best yet.  We really couldn’t be happier. There was a fantastic buzz across the show floor from the moment doors opened, and it was a very busy, valuable and productive two days for everyone involved.”

He added: “lunch! is the only UK event that annually attracts so many leading innovators, influencers, trailblazers and decision makers from across the food-to-go sector together in one place at one time.”

The show will return to London’s ExCeL on September 19-20 next year.
