London-based tableware supplier LSA International has launched nine new tableware collections featuring contemporary pieces across three different categories: drinkware, porcelain and decorative accessories.
Focusing on sustainability and craftsmanship, each collection is aimed at showcasing design-led mouth-blown glass to elevate different environments.
Inspired by the rituals of daily life, LSA International has added to its offering with curated pieces within its Select, Signature and Standard ranges. Architectural and geometric shapes sit alongside decorated glass, evocative of mountain peaks and the iridescence of bubbles. Innovations in colour and texture meet with mixed material finishes to add depth to this season’s palette.
The Select range includes the Palazzo collection of hand-painted tableware inspired by the grandeur of luxury hotels. Each porcelain teapot, cups and saucer has been individually hand-painted with platinum and iridescent finishes.
While the Signature range features four glassware collections, including Cask, which comprises decanters, weighted tumblers and combination sets. The cube, rectangular and oblong shapes of the decanters are individually fitted with bespoke stoppers, moulded from solid glass and ground by hand.
Another Signature collection is Epoque, offering mouth-blown champagne and cocktail flutes and saucers. Evocative of 1920s champagne coupes, the curved bowls and hollow stems taper towards flat disc-shaped feet for a vintage-inspired silhouette with a contemporary twist.
Also within the range is the Bubble collection, hand-painted with a sheer, pearlescent finish. Comprising of round, rocking tumblers and stemmed goblets, the collection can be used to serve wine, water, cocktails or long drinks over ice.
Completing the Signature range, the Mia collection is handmade from 100% recycled glass and comprises new tumbler shapes and bowls alongside vase/lanterns.
Within the Standard range, Market is a versatile collection of mouth-blown vessels, while The Peaks collection’s contemporary geometric design was inspired by the peaks of alpine mountain ranges and comprises versatile, stackable tumblers with a modern motif.
Monika Lubkowska-Jonas, creative director at LSA International, said: “55 years after its founding, LSA continues to create objects that enhance every day. Careful craft is a characteristic of an LSA piece. We work with masters of time-honoured skills, like mouth-blowing, hand cutting and hand painting. This is what gives our pieces feeling of freedom and lightness, of brightness and movement, of extravagance and optimism.”
