Loungers project is close to home for Tailormade

After travelling up and down the country installing kitchens for expansive Bristol cafe and bar chain Loungers, Tailormade Catering Equipment Services has finally completed one just around the corner from its own Portishead offices.

The latest bar, called Impero, features a Blue Seal Evolution cookline suite, coupled with the latest eco-friendly Foster refrigeration and Meiko warewashing equipment.

All equipment training was completed last week ahead of the venue’s opening.

“After completing over 20 installations for the Loungers team, we finally get a Lounge cafe/bar in our home town!” said Tailormade’s managing director Jim Stevens. “With the arrival of some other ‘high street names’ in Portsihead recently, and the continued expansion of the marina and dock areas, we are sure that Impero is going to be a sure-fire success.”

The latest Loungers cafe bar and restaurant is based in a retail unit that formerly housed a supermarket. It is large enough to be able to handle 130 covers.

The shop front has been pushed back into the restaurant to create a terrace for group’s trademark orange and green furniture.
