Navistar Global Logistics has revealed it is one of only two logistics firms to bag a contract allowing it deliver catering equipment to Olympic Games sites this summer.
The Middlesex-based outfit confirmed that it has been “approved” to go into the sites that are part of the 2012 Games taking place in London.
With restrictions in place for companies wishing to make deliveries to Olympic venues, Navistar was required to go through an advanced clearance process to obtain security passes and gain approval as an official transport company.
The only other supplier for the Olympics currently is UPS.
Navistar Global Logistics (UK) Ltd is an international logistics freight forwarding company with warehousing in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and at all ports and airports. It is a subsidiary of Nevada-based PTS Inc.
