National distributor, Lockhart Catering Equipment, is to host an inaugural Open Week at its central London innovation centre to celebrate the reopening of the hospitality industry.
Between Monday 21 June and Thursday 25 June, the facility, which features the UK’s largest tabletop display and a fully functional bar and commercial kitchen, will host demonstrations every day, as well as welcoming experts to talk and train end users through the latest innovative products.
The event will kick off at 11am on the Monday, with London Kitchen Social dining experiences in the showroom throughout the week, as chefs create dishes in the commercial kitchen.
From midday to 1pm on that day, Tri-Star Packaging will be displaying its most popular recyclable food packaging, suitable for takeaway and delivery.
Monday’s schedule concludes with glassware manufacturer Riedel demonstrating how to properly present and prepare drinks in its crystal glassware, held in the demo bar area between 3-5pm. The firm’s experts will be available all day to answer queries too.
Tuesday’s line-up will see experts from two tableware suppliers, Steelite and Rak Porcelain, on hand in the Lockhart innovation centre throughout the day.
Between 2-6pm that day, Falcon will also be holding a range of cooking demonstrations and offering canapes in the onsite fully functional commercial kitchen.
On Wednesday at 1pm, glassware manufacturer Elia will be running wine training, while Wedgwood will provide a premium tabletop display. Throughout the day, Creative Retail Display experts will be available to answer queries too.
Thursday’s itinerary sees Rational appliance experts and Genware barware and tableware specialists on hand all day.
The event will conclude with late night mixology and cooking demos with drinks and canapes until 9pm on the Thursday, from Rational and glassware supplier Arcoroc.
Throughout the week, Lockhart will give out a 10% off voucher for every attendee as well as gift bags and lucky dips worth up to £200.
