Rotherham-based distributor Lloyd Catering Equipment has appointed Jason Cunliffe as its sales director.
Formerly in the same role at the Sprint Group, Cunliffe will be responsible for helping Lloyd to lay the foundations for long term future growth. He brings with him more than 25 years’ experience of working in the foodservice industry and will be responsible for overseeing the company’s existing sales team.
His new role will see him take on the distributor’s national portfolio of clients, whilst also overseeing the company’s business development strategy, which will include working with some of the industry’s best known brands.
The appointment marks a significant step in the future growth of the family run business which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2016 and coincides with a major investment within the company’s Rotherham-based headquarters.
Since the beginning of the year, Lloyd Catering Equipment has undertaken an extensive overhaul of its premises, creating new purpose-built development kitchen facilities and also been developing new technology which is designed to provide greater flexibility to its growing client base when designing and planning commercial kitchens.
