Italian catering equipment importer and supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens, is ready to reward a new customer that buys one of its ‘Grand Master’ Cuppone Tiziano pizza ovens with a special gift as part of a sales promotion announced this week.
The Oldham-based supplier is focusing hard on Tiziano (Titian) purchases in the run-up to the anniversary of the artist’s death – August 27. Tiziano passed away in 1576 and, as it happens, LLK is expecting to welcome its 1576th Tiziano customer very soon.
Managing director, Linda Lewis, is now standing by with a golden Lilly pizza paddle, which will be bestowed upon the 1576th LLK Tiziano owner.
In the spirit of the Rio Olympics, this is a gold coloured peel with a perforated sun pattern in its robust aluminium alloy and the words, ‘Sole Mio’.
The company is confident that the 1576th customer is on the horizon given the recent good sales of the appliance.
Linda Lewis, managing director of LLK, said: “We are looking forward to presenting the 1576th Tiziano owner with one of our wonderful Lilly pizza paddles and welcoming them into the Tiziano owners’ club, which is full of chefs who are passionate about their reliable and remarkably cost-effective pizza oven.”
Ironically, LLK claims it would have sold more Tiziano ovens were it not for their reliability. Some owners, such as The Rakes Inn in Littleborough, have used it flat out for seven years and never had to call an engineer out, it claims.
