Pizza equipment specialist LLK has reacted to its Catering Insight Awards shortlisting for the Supplier Training and Education category.
The firm has been nominated by its peers and will find out the results of the industry vote this Thursday night, at the Banking Hall in London.
A key reason for LLK’s nomination was its regularly-held sales training days. At these events, the company’s dealers are invited to its headquarters for half a day of free, fun and informative professional development.

We strongly encourage any of our dealers looking to boost their matchmaking skills for partnering their customers with their perfect pizza equipment to book onto one of the upcoming dates in 2020.

The training days begin with a full English breakfast pizza freshly made by the LLK team, before receiving a presentation from Freeman, summarising the supplier’s products and services as well as its company culture.
Attendees are then led into LLK’s fully functional demo kitchen where they receive insights into the LLK range by development chef, Fabio Aurelio, as well as a varied lunch including pizza, lasagne, steak and vegan curry, all cooked using LLK equipment.
The trainees are then encouraged to solidify the theoretical understanding they gleaned during the day by getting interactive with the equipment and making their own pizzas under Fabio’s guidance.
The upcoming dates available for dealers to book onto are: Wednesday 22 January, Tuesday 10 March, Thursday 14 May, Wednesday 8 July, Wednesday 7 October and Thursday 3 December.
