CESA has confirmed that 15 catering equipment brands will be taking part in the first Heavy Equipment Forum that it is due to hold next month.
The event, which mirrors the successful light equipment event that CESA has held for the last 10 years, will take place at Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire on Wednesday 15 October.
The forum will feature 30-minute sessions, with each heavy equipment manufacturer demonstrating their latest products as well as offering hands-on training to ensure resellers understand the benefits and features of the kit.
Nick Oryino, chair of CESA, said: “In the past heavy equipment often meant heavy fuel consumption, but sustainability is increasingly important within the hospitality sector, and a key selling factor to prospective buyers looking to save money and reduce their company’s carbon footprint.
“Suppliers need to know all the information available regarding a product’s energy efficiency, so it’s a key focus at this year’s Forum.”
Attending the Forum itself is free, but CESA said spaces are limited.
The 15 brands taking part in the inaugural event are:
– First Choice
– Grande Cuisine
– RH Hall
