Lincat has appointed Lindsey Nash as business development manager (BDM) for the South West.
She will be responsible for driving sales in the southern region which includes Cornwall and southern Wales.
Nash replaces George Havercroft, who left Lincat earlier this year to set up his own pizza making business.
She joins from Atosa UK, where she worked for 2 years prior to being made redundant as a consequence of the pandemic. Previous to this, Nash worked for National FM.
Lincat’s sales and marketing director Paul Godfrey said: “Having previously worked for a distributor, Lindsey has experienced first-hand the challenges faced by our distribution partners. This empathy, coupled with her friendly, high energy and outgoing personality is a great combination for building relationships and driving sales in the southern region.”
Nash is looking forward to the new challenge, commenting: “I was devastated at the thought I may not have the opportunity to stay in the industry that I’d grown to love over last 3 years and that I wouldn’t be able to see my customers I’d become so fond of.
“When I found out Lincat had a position and it was for the south, covering my exact patch, I flew at the chance. Lincat has long been held as the leading manufacturer but also the best employer in the industry so I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining and I can’t wait to develop my career with the company.”
Nash will be based in her home town of Bowerhill, Wiltshire.
