Oldham-based catering equipment supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens, has launched a new warehousing service, ahead of one of the peak refurbishment periods in the catering calendar.
The firm has launched its new service to give owners of commercial kitchens some vital breathing space, if they need to clear a kitchen during an overhaul or refit.
The service is also ideal for catering equipment distributors and commercial kitchen designers, who may be planning a full kitchen scheme and in need of somewhere to store all the equipment until it is ready to be installed, according to the company.
LLK’s new warehousing facility is fully-manned and the warehousing solutions provided are claimed to be affordable and flexible, covering any length of time a customer wishes to store their equipment. The service also extends to the disconnection and removal of equipment, along with reconnection, if required.
Whilst the advantage for caterers is the room to manoeuvre during a refurbishment, for those regularly needing to store catering equipment, it is the removal of the necessity to incur overheads. They have no need to buy or lease a warehouse, or employ any warehouse staff.
Equipment which is to be stored prior to be being refitted in a new-look kitchen can be treated to both a service and deep-clean whilst with LLK, if the owner wants this option.
LLK’s other service – selling pre-owned equipment – also allows catering sector businesses may to market the appliances they no longer require.
