Linda Lewis Kitchens trails new pizza ovens

Italian catering and pizza equipment specialist, Linda Lewis Kitchens (LLK), has launched a range of gas living flame and wood-fired ovens.

The supplier has sourced five ranges of oven as a response to huge market demand for wood-fired and gas living flame ovens and the rapid growth of the street food catering sector.

The Oldham-based importer and supplier is heading to the European Pizza and Pasta Show at Olympia tomorrow and Thursday to showcase its new ovens.

One of the wood-fired pizza oven ranges, called Da Vinci, is said to have good heat retention, due to its design and using the latest materials.

Another option is the Verrocchio range which comes complete with a forced draft gas burner, which delivers the illusion of burning wood, by mixing gas with air and throwing up a flame around the dome that can reach 1,500mm.

The burner is claimed to consume the lowest amount of gas in the world.

Third of the new offerings is the Giovanni range, featuring a revolving stone base designed to make loading and unloading easier. It is said to speed up production by up to 20%, giving restaurants the opportunity to increase profitability and revenue.

For those on a tighter capital expenditure budget, the ‘oven-in-a-box’ Andiamo range is suitable for street food traders, start-ups and smaller businesses.

This range comes in a choice of wood-fired or gas oven and is pre-assembled prior to delivery.

Its compact size is designed to fit through a standard door frame, enabling the new owner to get up and running swiftly.

Its smaller brother – the Tito Andiamo – is a trailer oven for those preferring to tow their oven to events.

All LLK ovens to come with a 10-year warranty.
