Oldham-based catering equipment supplier, Linda Lewis Kitchens (LLK) received an award at this year’s biannual ENSE Conference, for having achieved ‘outstanding sales performance by increasing turnover through ENSE by over 50% in 2016’.
LLK has experienced tremendous growth over the past year which MD Linda Lewis states: “Is purely down to our relationship with our trusted network of dealers, and being part of ENSE and Cedabond cements those relationships. Our turnover alone through ENSE has increased by 71% this past year, which we are over the moon with.”
The pizza oven specialist’s business model is built on its exclusive partnerships with dealers, with LLK regularly putting on workshops in its fully functional demo kitchen to help boost its distributors’ sales.
LLK also actively encourages dealers to bring along prospective customers to their demonstration kitchen for a ‘try before they buy’ session on a wide range of their Italian pizza ovens and equipment. Sales administrator Chloe Lewis commented: “You wouldn’t buy a car without test driving it first.”
Furthermore, business development manager Jenna Lewis said: “Distributing our products solely through our dealer network is what makes LLK different to other suppliers. We have strong relationships with all of our dealers who all appreciate our commitment to support and advise them and their clients throughout any projects we are a part of.”
While operations manager Natalie White added: “Dealer workshop days allow us to equip our dealers with invaluable knowledge to sell our products. The response to the workshops has so far been better than we anticipated – we have so much fun hosting them too!”
