Following “unprecedented” pre-sale demand, the multi-patented Synergy Grill is now available to purchase from Lincat.
This industry-first collaboration between two catering equipment brands combines pioneering, award-winning technology with a suited chargrill solution.
Synergy Grill is designed to deliver high power cooking with low energy consumption. Food should be cooked faster and significant energy and cost savings made, as it is designed to use 59% less gas than a standard grill.
The grill’s vaporising technology is designed to retain high levels of flavour and moisture in food. Fat is atomised during the cooking process and turned into dust, which is simply vacuumed at the end of service. This removes the need for fat trays and should provide quick and easy cleaning, and a safer kitchen environment.
As a result of the partnership, Lincat has added two new chargrills, incorporating the Synergy Grill technology, to its Opus 800 series, available in 600mm and 900mm widths.
Helen Applewhite, marketing manager at Lincat, commented: “Synergy Grill has never before allowed its British-made, advanced grill technology to be used by another company, until now. Since we announced the partnership in January and unveiled plans for our new grills, we’ve seen unprecedented demand for them and experienced strong pre-order sales.
“Our unique collaboration with Synergy Grill ensures that customers, who aspire to a suited look and feel within the kitchen, can now upgrade to what is widely seen as the future of commercial cooking. The grill has become, for many, an essential part of quality food delivery and we are delighted to be able to offer it within our Opus 800 Series.”
At the time of launch, Justin Cadbury, chairman of Synergy Grill, said: “We are delighted to be supplying this technology and associated experience to Lincat who, like Synergy, has an industry reputation for outstanding quality and premium customer service.
“Whilst we were approached by another manufacturer for the use of our technology, after having met with the Lincat team, we were completely attuned to their positive management philosophy and specific vision to deliver the best possible equipment, with the fastest financial payback. In such a tight margin market, restaurants need to ‘future proof’ themselves with the best available technology.”
